I love this on snare
I have this one on my Ludwig Acrolite aluminum snare. I love it. It's got a clear punchy sound with a bit of extra low end. I got it because it looks cool, but it sounds cool too.
There are obviously better heads for playing with brushes, but this sounds excellent.
Rainbow black dot heads the best ever
I've been using black dot powerheads for a very long time and in my opinion they are the best drum head on the market today I wouldn't even consider any other drum head even though I have tried other heads I always come back to my black dot I have a new set and I plan on putting black dot heads on every drum yes it may be expensive but it's worth it you get what you pay for if you want good stuff you got to pay for it that's the bottom line black dot in my opinion there is no equal I am so proud to cover my drums with black dot heads so I say thank you to the Remo Drum Company thanks guys for your excellent work I wish you all the best Mr Sam's
Great Tom Head
I bought a set of Black Dots on a whim, and I really like how punchy my toms are. I use clear Ambassadors on the bottom tensioned a minor-third above the batter side. I get just enough resonance without having to use muffling. I don't care if they aren't trendy right now. I can't get enough.
