Doesn't feel natural
First off I want to say that I LOVE NSD products having owned two of their EUB's. Their customer service and quality are unsurpassed. I was hoping this would be a good substitute for the natural feel of an acoustic double bass but it just isn't in my opinion. I tried working with it for a couple of hours but just couldn't get a good feel for the correct position. Not sure there could be a replica close to feeling that acoustic body leaning into you. It may be right for you so you may want to try it - fortunately Sweetwater makes it easy to test drive a product when you can't find it locally. They made the return fast and simple - Great customer service as always.

Not the best quality
Sturdy but overpriced
This product is made well. There is a lot of adjustability, which is why it would be nice if they had instructions. I sit in a stool when I play and I realized that having my NXTa stationary cases me to rock it on its stand when the groove gets me. So it was either stand up and play or get this endpin
Does not work with the NXT DB stand!
Don't get me wrong, this stand is solid, and feels more natural than the stock stand. If you are going to be getting the conversion kit for the regular stand so you can use them together then keep in mind that the conversion kit is designed for the CR stand, not the NXT. The CR stand is really much nicer than the one that ships with the NXT anyway, and is good upgrade even if you don't buy this stand.
