A truly beautiful instrument!
I've had this bass for about a year now and wow, this thing sings! I've been playing for 20 years and this changed the game for my fretless playing and playing in general. I love the EMG pickups in it. They sound warm when you want and bright when you want. Then add the piezo pick up the options a wonderful. I brought this to a gig right when I got it and my drummer said that is the best bass I've heard, period! I really like that it has the dots on the fretboard so you don't get lost and can see where you are (which is especially important on a fretless). It stays in tune pretty well and needs very little adjustment. The only quark about it is the string set up. It came with regular round wound strings, which were great, but I worried they would prematurely scratch or damage the fretboard. I put flats on there and because of how it is put into the bass you may have to set it up differently or add tape or something to the strings to make them fit. I've recently had luck with the laBella 750c-cb strings which work pretty well and sounds wonderful. Though I had to put a paper shim on the nut to accommodate the less winding on the string. Truly a great sounding, feeling and playing bass.
