Amazing Guitar
The sound is amazing. Bright, clear, and full - with more mids than my Yamaha LLTA. Fit and finish are beautiful, lots of pleasing little details. Not blingy, just classy. For less than half of what other brands with this construction might cost, this is a solid value. I had mine plek'd and I'd do it again without hesitation. Yamaha's are always good right out of the box but this one is incredible. I'm sitting at work right now, on a work computer, dreaming about going home to play this guitar. I went through a lot of gear since I started this journey 3 years ago, this is the first guitar I've 'felt'. This one is a keeper.
Why is this Guitar Under the Radar?
Fabulous guitar. The Look: Translucent Black meaning it looks black from a distance, and up close you see the wood grain. Construction: Made in Japan, where the top of line Yamahas are made. Impeccable build quality. Sound: Unplugged, the sound just resonates from this guitar, and multiple options with the electronics provided when plugged in. 3 Band EQ.... Feedback reduction... 3 mic models... and a resonance knob to be used with the mic modeling. I'm partial to the Neumann U67 large diaphragm mic, but personal preferences differ and you may like the Neumann KM 56 small diaphragm, or the Royer R-122 ribbon mic setting.
