Great cable for the money
I use these in a high school environment to connect iphones, computers, and other audio devices to the pa system in the gym as well as connecting to active speakers in portable setups around campus. Frankly, they get abused as students, teachers and coaches are constantly connecting and disconnecting equipment. I started off buying "pro" cables at 4 times the cost but they kept breaking. These last just as long but are much less painful to replace. I buy 2 or 3 at a time so I can keep spares on hand.
Hosa hits another home run!
I've been trying so many different chords through the years and I've finally landed on Hosa who's just nailed it! I love the molded plastic rather than the metal screw sheath because they never get touchy and give me unwanted crackling static and their cables have worked perfectly for all my Korg Volca series/Monotribe/monotron needs, they just sound great! Thank you Hosa and thank you Joe at Sweetwater you both have a life long customer in me!
The right cable
OK so a cable isn't that exciting to review but the great thing about it is that it's the right cable. My sales engineer Zach Bailey knew exactly what I wanted to do and helped me choose the right cable for the job. Keep up the great customer service.
Works great.
Thanks again, Sweetwater. Works just fine.
Good Cable
I have yet to have any issues with this cable. I use it to send Rhythm signal from my looper back into my amp's aux input when I'm mobile and don't have a receiver to plug into.
Stopped working after 6 months
Fyi, according the sales people at Sweetwater, this cable that converts a stereo signal to a mono signal basically just joins the two signals without using any resistors. This can potentially damage your audio source. I was assured that this cable would not mess up my audio source (i.e., laptop or cell phone, etc.). To be honest, it worked okay in the beginning. Also, after two or three months of usage I didn't use it that much any more, only sporadically. Around 5 months after owning it, it started making loud and annoying sounds along with my audio. I had to play around with the jack. Malfunctioning already! Now, it doesn't work at all. I don't recommend it.
