Great on drum group or vocal parallel compression
I am very happy with this and the 1176 plug in from waves. Alone or in parallel with the 1176 plug-in, it faithfully does its job to even out a drum or vocal group and bring a mix together
Exactly what I was looking for
Extremely useful - with incredible presets that help with getting started on instruments, vocals and group dynamics! Adds the beef where you need it and gives incredible control. A must have :)
Nice Sparkle
I had been using my old Bombfactory BF-2A for years, but lost it in an upgrade, so I replaced it with this.
I'm so glad I did. It's a more present compressor that feels even more sensitive and transparent, but
still gives that classic LA-2A vibe. Great plugin.
A MUST HAVE for Vocals
I need to go back and remix all my my old songs with this compressor on the lead vocal. It’s smooths out our vocal so nicely and gives it such a warm, rich sound. Works well on bass and GREAT on acoustic guitars!!
Smooth And Effective Compressor
I use the CLA-2A on my vocal tracks and it handles dynamics well without sounding too intrusive and on my Master section, it does a great job of leveling everything out. A like the way the High frequency Filter helps me fine tune output levels. With the simple two-knob design, it is easy to insert and get the compression I need.

CLA-2A Plug-in
I've been a fan of the CLA-2A for a while now. I've used it at school, and decided it was time to purchase it myself. I haven't had any problems with it. It's price was more than fair as well.
Depth and Control
Simply placing this on the track gives it more depth. Reminds me clearly of the classic EQ's that are unobtrusive and add the perfect amount of colorization and feel. Highly recommend!

This plug in is awesome. You can use it on anything but, I use it mostly for vocals and background parts. It not to far off the real thing you'll be glad you got it.
