A Showtime Ovation
I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this guitar. I have only been playing for about 18 months but my husband has been playing for over 40 years. We both love the Ovation guitar. Hubby plays a deep bowl guitar but even the Mid-Depth is too wide for me. This Super Shallow body is perfect! It is thin like an electric with a beautiful acoustic sound and plugged in, even better. I've been playing a Standard Balladeer (also super shallow) but wanted something "pretty". This guitar is not only pretty but she sounds great! I just got this guitar for my birthday this week and I can't put it down!!!

Took a chance and ordered one of these. It arrived on time as all SW orders do. First thoughts, the stain had some black shading in it and I don't care too much for that. The action was too high for me. Having never set up an ovation was a challange. The saddle is not flat on the bottom, more like a comb, I sanded it down anyway, worked on the nut and truss rod (wrench comes with the guitar) and the usual stuff. It sounds really good and plays well now, I dig it, sounds better than any guitar in this price range I have played in my 45 years of playing.
