A very high quality guitar for the money…I love it!
First- I rarely post reviews. Only when something is really great or really terrible do I bother. This guitar is on the great end of that spectrum and is really surpassing my expectations. I love the way it looks but most importantly it sounds fantastic and plays just sooooo nice. The fit and finish is really first rate. The built in tuner and pickup/eq combo are simple and work wonderfully. I specifically wanted a nylon string that wasn't your standard "classical" guitar but something with a slightly narrower fingerboard. This really fits that bill. It's just nicer and easier to play in my opinion. This is by far the least expensive guitar I've ever owned but I can confidently say there is nothing "cheap" about it. If you're looking for a nylon string that is fun to play, look no further. If you want to plug in and play with some cool reverbs and delays, it sounds as good amped as it does unplugged. The fact that Sweetwater makes it so easy to see the actual guitar you're going to get makes shopping here a no brainer. And as expected, communication, purchasing and shipping were all easy and first rate. This guitar was back ordered for quite a while when I was on the lookout for one, so I ended up waiting months for them to come back in stock. So, if you are in the market snatch one up while you can. You never know when supply chain issues will be an issue. Two thumbs up! 5 stars!
At this price point, Ovation was the only manufacturer I was interested in
I've had this a few weeks now and enjoy it a lot. First, it's very comfortable and the action straight out of the box was great. I changed strings to Daddario normal tension and i's just so fluid. It has a very useful and distinct 3 band EQ, great resonance and articulation of the notes up and down the fret board. To sum up - a really good sounding and playing guitar and a great value.
Great guitar
Played guitar for over 50 years owned several classical guitars, some high end, but am extremely happy with this one. As always Sweetwater is a great company to do business with. This has to be the fastest turn around time ever, ordered Friday about 11 in the morning and got it Monday morning, I have bought my last 8 or 10 guitars from them, can't say enough about this company and Ryan Sloan, thank you all.
My Favorite
I've always wanted an Ovation guitar. What finally convinced me was the thought that went into the untraditional design of this guitar. After playing it for a while now, I've found this to be my favorite out of all my guitars. Also being acoustic/electric, it gives me the best of both worlds.

Hey, this is a fantastic classical guitar! It has a mature and thoughtful sound that will inspire you to pursue your classical guitar passion! If you're into Spanish guitar or just that traditional sound and style, this guitar will suit you perfectly. If you're like me and love all that stuff as well as Yes or early Rush, then this is the guitar for you!! Very well made and beautiful design push it over the top! This guitar will bring out the better player in you and enhance your playing ability at the same time! One of it's best features is the neck itself. The width enables you to get the most sound out of your hand position and creates a better sounding chord or note than you are usually used to hearing, especially with the unique sound hole designs. The fact that it doesn't have fret board inlays, adds to the character of the guitar and challenges your focus a little more and makes you less reliant on fret inlays and gives you more confidence and better sound structure! I'm so glad I added this one to my collection. I've only had it for about a year and can't imagine being without it!!
