PRS SE CE24 Electric Guitar - Turquoise Reviews
PRS’s SE CE24 merges the Custom 24 series’ elegant tonewoods and iconic aesthetics with a snappy bolt-on-neck design. This guitar’s maple-veneer-topped mahogany body epitomizes the company’s tonal dedication to singing sustain, exceptional clarity, and vintage-style warmth, harkening back to the golden age of solidbody guitar building. However, instead of the standard mahogany set-neck found on the majority of PRS instruments, this guitar sports a sturdy maple Wide Thin neck with a rosewood fingerboard. This combination provides a crisp, sharp attack and immaculately defined trebles, complementing the natural warmth and richness of the 85/15 “S” humbuckers. The SE CE24 finishes it all off with rock-solid PRS-designed tuners and a PRTS Patented Tremolo for expressive bends and flutters. Whether it's your first PRS or your fifth, the PRS SE CE24 is destined to become your next #1 axe!

Cool guitar!
I got this guitar when they were on sale last December. I liked the color and waited for one with a nice flamed top veneer with true lines.
I'm not a fan of neck scarf joints like this one has, but decided to overlook it.The body is cool as it has a healthy maple cap on a mahogany back, but with a bolt on neck. This does affect the tone! (Watch the product video) i can get beefy tones and also got some "Strattish" tones using both pickups with the coil tap.
I have never liked the PRS SE tuners. And I wish the neck was glossy like the body. But the 85/15 pickups come to life on this guitar, moreso than the all mahogany cherry custom 24 that I have with the same pickups.
This neck plays well. And 24 frets! ..it is a bit wide ...but variety is a good thing imo
Also you're getting a rosewood fingerboard.
It's a beautiful and versatile guitar with some classic tones and some unique tones... Nice to look at and fun to play!

I bought this guitar to use as a standard tuning guitar for my cover band. I use one in Standard, one a half step down and one a full step down. My vocal range is not as high as in the 80's. I liked many things about this guitar.
Pros - plays well, beautiful finish, clever bolt on neck heel design for easier access to higher frets. Coil taps are somewhat effective.
Cons - Guitar makes annoying ping sound when when palm muting A and D string. Pickups probably need swapped, very sharp edge on tremolo bar.
