PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin Electric Guitar- Turquoise Satin Reviews
The PRS SE line is famous for punching above its price point, and the new satin-finished SE CE 24 Standard Satin electric guitar intensifies that trend with an unassuming all-purpose electric guitar value that both hobbyists and pros will appreciate. A traditional mahogany body supplies flexible tonal foundations and lasting sustain that paves the way for the unfettered genre range of the PRS-designed humbuckers onboard. What's more, the SE CE 24 features a bolt-on maple neck with a Wide Thin profile, just like its USA-made counterparts. A long-anticipated recent refinement of the CE 24, a maple neck adds brightness and a slight percussive energy to your playing. Pair that with a roomy 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and PRS’s patented tremolo system, and prepare to be astonished by the potent features of the SE CE 24 Standard Satin.

Wow, very nice!
I don't usually write reviews, but this guitar is so nice for the money I had to pass along my thoughts!
After playing a couple ~3 hr gigs last year, I realized I probably need a lighter guitar for those longer shows. I grabbed one of these a few weeks ago and I love it!
I figured it would feel similar to my buddy's SE 24-08 Custom, but this thing feels even better with its satin neck & body. It is hard to define, but it has a 'snappy', Strat-ish tone and response (I'm sure this is due to the bolt-on neck).
I love the finish and feel of the satin stain, and it probably saves about a pound of weight compared to the usual gloss finish. Mine is around 7 lb. 4 oz. but somehow feels even lighter than that.
If you try it I think you will like it!!!
Thanks as always to my awesome sales rep, Jacob Stutzman.
Wow!
Easily one of the best sub $ guitars you can get. I did lower the action but that is all I did. Sounds fantastic and the coil split is more than convincing.if you need a solid backup or a pro level entry option, this is it. The little details are all here and the finish is a head turner. Frets are polished and smooth. Work it in for 30 minutes and it will hold tune, even with moderate trem work. Can't say enough, just wow!
Fabulous instrument!
I received this guitar a few days ago and I'm really enjoying playing it. I've had a few SE CE 24's before and this one is my favorite. It looks flawless and came nicely set up to play well. The satin finish and neck really contribute to a great look and playability. The trem has a great feel. Frets are nicely finished. The weight is better than I expected - mine is just 6 lb 10 oz. Pickups are nice, sweet, nicely balanced (not like low end pups) and hot enough - so no need to change them out. Can't wait to try it out on some gigs.
As always my SW rep Jacob Stutzman was very helpful. Plus, I got it much sooner than expected!!
