Amazing for the price point
This should be recommended as THE go to guitar for beginners. I don't care what Epiphone or Squier has in this price range. Really, this is such a great guitar. The neck feels great, frets are well done, tuners work perfectly and the trem actually doesn't knock it out of tune.
Hard To Believe!
WOW! That's all i can say. I have never played a guitar at this price point that has the build quality and playability that this guitar has. The satin neck is smooth as silk, the frets have no sharp edges and are finished nicely no scratching. I did a minor setup to fit my playing style (i am very particular about the feel of a neck). The only change i made was adding a set of PRS Locking SE tuners. This guitar is easily worth twice the price. I have an $ Mexican Fender that doesn't compare to the PRS. The PUPs are well above most on a guitar at this price, they can go from warm to snarky and have a decent single coil sound. I won't switch them out. BUY THIS GUITAR ! Wow! What a bang for the buck!
Out of the box, I'm completely blown away by what $ gets you. This thing feels incredible, sounds great, and stands up with my USA S2. This could very well be one of the best "budget" guitars on the market. The charcoal finish is nice as well. A keeper for sure.
PRS quality
This is my fifth PRS. All from the SE line. PRS has knock it out of the park with this guitar. Don't let the price sway your decision away from buying this guitar. I have to say this is the best playing and sounding of all my guitars. The pickups go from crisp highs to warm lows. As a previous PRS owner I did not hesitate to buy this guitar as quality AT ANY PRICE is number one. You can definitely feel it with the fret and neck work. By this guitar. PRS has done it again. Game changer.
