Love my new PRS CE24
Love my new guitar. Plays easy and sounds awesome! The people at Sweetwater are awesome too. Great customer service. Extremely happy with my guitar and the entire purchasing process.
Beautiful guitar!
It all started buying a prs s2 35th anniversary which came damaged, however sweet water was incredible with the customer service! (THANKS PATRICK DENNIS), and since they didn't have it in stock anymore I was given a credit for this one.
I am glad I made the change to the ce24, an absolute beast. Super articulate and clear. The bolt on neck provides a brightness that I really love. You can achieve incredible single coil sound and if you add a compressor it is much real. And the humbuckers are amazing, I really like the 85/15 pickups very modern totally what I was looking for in a pickup. The frets where perfect and the neck was the only thing that I have to get used to since I come from fenders, but now I can play it effortless.
The only thing that is made overseas is the bridge but this bridge is very good and the steel block provides the extra snappy-ness which a brass wouldn't achieve.
If you cannot afford the core line I don't think you will missing a lot. It is as good and reliable.
Wow, why did I wait so long?
I've played strats, les pauls, and teles. Recently my strat became a problem because I was constantly hitting the pick up selector switch when playing. Wanted something that would be an "all in one" guitar for gigging out. This guitar does it all. The feel and responsiveness is off the charts. And the pick ups really sound awesome. Full bodied and rich with the humbuckers and clean and spanky when switched to the single coils.
The finish, color and craftsmanship on the instrument are also incredible. I will be buying another PRS, that's for sure!!!!
My first PRS
I own 50 guitars, acoustics, resonators, 12 and 6 stings. Most are collectable, and this is my first PRS. I have Gibson SG, Les Pauls, and many ES models, Fenders and older Epiphones, This PRS blew me away, it is so comfortable and enjoyable to play. I will be adding another PRS to the collection soon!
My biggest regret is that I waited all of these years to discover what PRS has to offer.
