We have used many types of CDs and DVDs in our video business and in my songwriting, and the most professional looking, best performing media are these CMC Pro WaterShield White Water Resistant Inkjet Printable CD and DVD media. With an inkjet printer that prints on this type of media, we deliver the best looking, glossy, photograph-like images for each project. They look the best, they perform the best (rarely do I find a failure) and the price is right. Great product!
Makes professional looking CD's
Our band is using these CD's for small run production. We bought a Epson XP-800 for about $140. Just select glossy print on the Epson software and the CD's will turn out looking very professional. Btw- Mac- our Sweetwater rep is great to work with. Very knowledgable.

Printing looks store-bought
I use these CDRs when I print a few CDs for my clients who aren't ready to duplicate or replicate a few hundred. I use a $99 Epson ink jet printer and get amazing results. Import a jpeg of the artwork in the printer software and the CDs look great. High price makes for limited uses. Sweetwater has always had the best price that I can find.
Works as I expected, except for some friends
I've had great luck burning and printing this media, but for some folks it won't work in their players... I am closing the discs, so I don't know what's going on. Maybe the thickness of the media? it does seem a bit thicker than some others.

I recorded on 2 discs without a hitch then when got down to business and recorded 3 song mixes it gave me a 'CD Error".
I'm thinking it could be the thickness of the disc or I need to upgrade from my old SuperScope recorder. Anyway, I can't risk losing any more mixes. Otherwise, the quality of the discs are exceptional and if you need a printable disc these are the ones to get.
