Great Guitar with a good set up for the money
Spoke with my Sales Engineer about this guitar as I was looking for something to take on a short term mission and am planning on leaving it for the community we will be spending our time with. So, did not want to spend too much on it, but wanted something that would be good for me to using leading worship times, as well as something that would be nice for the ultimate recipient of it as a gift. This Fender has good tone, came well set up for easy play, has built in electronics, and a nice hard case. It should work out quite well, and I am very pleased.
Ultimate Traveler
I have owned this guitar for 7 months now and it has served as my first real acoustic guitar. Gloss finish, classic shape, and included case won me over in deciding between this and a Martin X-Series. After learning for months and beginning local gigs, this guitar will continue to serve as the ultimate road guitar for me. Super fast neck, great high end and plenty of low end. I had mine setup to lower the action and adjust the saddle. After that it plays just as well as guitars 2x the price. Highly recommend for beginners or intermediate players looking for a guitar that can be brought anywhere.
My go-to guitar
This is the first guitar I've ever purchased for my guitar learning journey. I've owned it for eleven years now. It's the guitar I grab when practicing or learning new songs. Once it's setup, it plays really nice. I always take this guitar with me when I go on trips, or camping, and love playing it next to the campfire jamming with my friends. And it's held up very well after all these years of playing and traveling (of course I take good care of my guitars). For the price point, it's a well made guitar, sounds great, and is great for all skill levels. I will never sell this guitar. I captured the attached photo just a couple days ago.
Had this for a long time, just now leaving a review.
I've had this as my acoustic guitar for a long time. Just recently upgraded, and realized I never reviewed it. This one is seriously worth it. Once set up, it plays very well and sounds as you would expect any dreadnought to sound. There were some minor issues in construction, such as the nut slot was cut a little deep on one side and they filled the difference with glue, but that doesn't affect how it plays. Would highly recommend this for someone's first acoustic guitar. I had a cheaper guitar before this and it just never played right. This one really helped me get into guitar. Even now owning a nicer, more expensive guitar, I still take this one out from time to time and show it some love.
Great guitar!
bought this as a cheap starter guitar, haven't played much in 20 some years. sounds good holds tune. sounds even better with the new strings.
Arrived early
FedEx got it here early and in good shape. Was packaged well. Only played it a little bit so far but sounds good. I'm just picking up guitar after not playing since I was younger. It's good looking and not super fancy. It'll get the job done. Case is plush, not fond of the latches though, feel cheep. Was a little polish that didn't get buffed out on it. Thanks Sweetwater, you rock! Corey
