This ADJ C-Clamp is an essential part of your lighting rig. Designed to hold most standard fixtures, this C-Clamp attaches to any truss or pipe up to 2" in diameter.
Good alternative but
Heavy and strong. The weak point is the thread for the clamp bolt. It works but there's not really enough meat there. I welded a nut on top on some which were way too loose and problem solved.
Sturdy
These are quality clamps! I am using them on Jamstands which have spaced holes for the height adjustment pins. The screw on this clamp might mar the tubing, if I did not position the screw into one of the predrilled holes in the tubing. With my application there is no risk of the clamp slipping on the vertical tubing, with considerable load attached to the accessory bolt on this clamp. The steel clamp can hold several pounds easily, without concern about it deforming and falling off. Get some extras! These clamps are immediately more usefu,l for other applications, once you have them in your hands!
