The audience absolutely LOVES bubbles - especially children. It is a great way to gain the crowd's attention in a unique way, so I am extremely glad I bought this. I point one of my stage lights toward the emerging bubbles and it adds to the happy mood the bubbles produce.

BUT . . .

Some caveats:

1. You don't want bubbles for your entire appearance, and the foot switch will help you trigger this machine periodically from where you are on stage. While you are there, pick up a 27 gallon Sterilite Tote to store this machine in, along with the bubble juice. You don't want it dripping on your other equipment in a shared case.

2. You need to carry a small funnel along to pour the unused bubble potion back into the bottle at the end of the night. It can't stay in the machine, or it will slosh around and make a mess. BTW- I did a whole show with periodic bubble appearances, and only used about a tenth of a bottle of the Chauvet Bubble Juice, so the bottle is a good deal and should last a long time.

3. If using this indoors, it will leave the area in front of the machine wet and slippery, so put a towel down. Also, overusing this will leave your room (and audience) covered with a thin film of bubble juice, so use sparingly when indoors. Outdoors? Bubble away!

4. At the end of the night, be prepared to drain, wash, and dry this machine off before putting it away. Parts of it will be covered with bubble juice, which can get sticky if left on the machine. Usually, you will be playing somewhere thst has a kitchen sink, and you'll have to take it in there.

5. My only complaint: The pan inside that holds the bubble potion is made out of thin plastic - like a tray you buy a pound of hamburger in at the store. For the cost of this unit, that tray should be more substantial.

6. Enjoy the bubbles! It's not just point and play, but it is less work than adopting a kitten, so enjoy!

Makes primarily small bubbles, but quite a lot of them. Filling is kind of a pain (can be messy just pouring fluid in) and if you pick it up with fluid in it, it'll spill a bit, but I expect that with bubble machines if this style

Exactly what I wanted. Bubbles come out in crazy large volumes and spread out far. The bubble liquid that came with floats well and not soapy. Customer service was thorough too. Though I missed the phone call I received a voicemail the morning after I purchased saying it was being shipped.

Works as well and as easily as you think it would. Kids love it!

I had a request for bubbles and this was the best option I could find. I was really impressed with the output. My advise is to get reputable bubble fluid, the viscosity will effect output.

As a bubble machine, yes it works great! As expected it does make a mess with the fluid. The only drawback is that it is not Dmx. So you have to turn in on by the switch on the back even though it is able to hang from a truss. Had to use a separate power cord with a remote Christmas tree switch to turn it on and off.

The B550 Bubble King is my go-to machine.(I have owned 8, six are currently in action.) I've tried some of the others and the rest just don't compare. Drawbacks are a difficulty in cleaning, and the tendency to foam due to the extreme agitation. Use a good bubble solution in this machine and you'll get years of bubble action! Glad that Sweetwater is carrying this product!

Within 4 seconds of hitting 'on' puts out high volume of bubbles. Leaks easily if moved with fluid still inside - be careful!
