A bargain waiting for you!
This is my first bass. I own a Strat w/dual humbuckers, and a LesPaul Junior (double cutaway) w/single P90 (a BEAST!)…so, I have an idea of what a decent guitar should feel and sound like. I purchased my first Fender Strat in 1970 for $. I can't believe someone would be selling an instrument of this quality for this low price! It is aesthetically pleasing, the neck feels perfect, and the ceramic single-coil p/u supplies the punch I like. The short-scale makes it effortless to play. I haven't been this happy about dropping $ since that Strat in '70. Thank you, Fender, for your Squire series. I'm actually a drummer, but I still know a decent guitar when I play it!
Great Bass
Have had my SONIC for a week or so I am very happy!
Looks good and while fighting a bit of arthritis in my left-hand middle finger, the short throw of the neck is bringing a bit of relief!
Pumping it through my BUGERA BDX12 brings a nice clear "THUNK" with plenty of force.
Don't let the SQUIRE tag fool you.
This bass is a little monster.
