Tech 21 Boost D.L.A. Reviews
When you're playing a solo, you just need a little extra panache. Tech 21's Boost D.L.A. has that little something extra — and then some! On top of giving you 9dB of boost to help drive your amp into sweet, sweet saturation, the Boost D.L.A. soaks your sound in a slick delay. Tunable to sound like anything from tape echo to bucket brigade to digital delay, the Boost D.L.A. takes the delay experience further with the addition of triplet-enhanced tap tempo and trailing repeats. That's right, the remaining regenerating delays trail off naturally rather than meet an abrupt end when the pedal is bypassed.

Tech21 Boost Delay
I use this delay in front another delay and an echo. The tap tempo fed into the other boxes makes for some great sounds. It also sounds great by itself. The size is good, and the controls are well laid out. Tech21 products have always been good. My only comment would be to have a sweepable midrange instead of the basic tone control.
analog delay heaven
Stunning delay, especially for cleaner and slightly overdriven sounds. Controls function a bit different than the more commonly used delays out there, but they make sense. That's what tech 21 does, take old ideas and innovative them into something better. The triplet button is very much like a "dotted 1/8th" delay and can get that U2-ish sound.
I don't really use the boost function yet.
oh yeah- you can tap the beat when the pedal is off. Very cool.
