I played about an hour standing with this strap and doesn't feel a thing. I have a Les Paul and it used to pressure my shoulder so hard I got a headache but with this strap non of that. Totally Recommended!

I got my hands on one of these last year. By far the best strap I've ever used. So comfortable and it never irritates while using it.

The padding seems perfect but unfortunately it is a pos. I have been a big fan of Mono but if you gig a lot this strap will not last long.

I purchased 3 of these. I'm OCD and I like having a consistent look to my guitar arsenal. I was a big fan of Mono products in general, especially the Vertigo guitar case. I loved the straps at first, very comfortable and attractive. HOWEVER, just a year down the road and the ends became hard and brittle with dry rot and they simply self destructed without a lot of hard use. It broke my heart to toss them.

Okay i got this today and i was so happy too see it. Okay what do i think of it? Its very nice! My guitar is safe not worry about hitting the floor or something and also my shoulder feel so much with this strap thats really great! Thank you sweet water has always!

The best strap I've found. I have 5 of them.

I purchased one of these about 7 months ago and it was $. Now it's $, which is a little sad to see these AWESOME straps becoming a little unacessable. That being said, they are amazing. The padding and the width really save your shoulder, and the outer layer isn't super slippery, so the guitar isn't just freespinning on your shoulder.

This is my favorite strap now, hands down, not sure I'll ever buy anything other than these.

Don't get me wrong, this is a very well made sturdy strap. Very nice design. I am a long time bass player and lately been experiencing major back pain after long practices. I researched options and saw all the reviews for this strap. I ordered it and very was hopeful. But really it's just a strap, it literally is no different then any other strap. Yeah it has padding, but really makes No difference. This is honest review, it's a nice strap but do not buy thinking it is going to help your back problems.

I have bought three of these. I bought the first one because I needed a longer strap for a guitar with an odd body shape (Gibson RD). It worked great. So, I bought one for my P-Bass and another for a Les Paul. These straps have just the right amount of padding in the right places to provide some comfort when playing heavier guitars. Durable and well made. Definitely would (will) buy again.

I got this to use on my White Dove but the dove guitar has a endpin jack and a adaptor. This strap has thick tire like rubber ends which get in the way of plugging in the guitar. So, now will use it on a Les Paul instead. It would be good on a bass.
As far as strap locks they install in the thick tire like rubber ends ok but must compress them good. I used both Dunlop and Schaller types and Schaller installed easier. Good strap but pricey. I like the Dunlop Neropene better. Padded part of this strap is somewhat stiff also and takes up more space to store away.

It's ok, how can every review be 5 stars? Is it that good? I don't seem to think so..

I like it because it"s easy to adjust up or down while instrument is on. This is great for me, because I like to have a slightly longer strap for a P bass than a J bass. My other strap was a pain to adjust. Bonus-Dunlop straplocks fit without having to make the holes bigger.

The length is perfect for a mid-body guitar sling. The padding conforms well to the body while providing comfort over long periods. The material is highly durable and strong. The one downside is the smell of the end strap material.

This strap is comfortable enough to hang a 79 Les Paul Custom on. Nice tough ends that fit my Schaller strap locks.

I used to play very light-weight, short-scale bass guitars, and was able to use small leather "vintage-style" guitar straps. Recently, I switched to a gorgeous full-size Rickenbacker 4003S bass, and found that my small leather straps with a tiny shoulder pad weren't comfortable. My search began online, and based on reviews I tried many different straps: I tired a KLIQ aircell guitar strap with 3" wide neoprene pad and while I found it comfortable, it was too wide and too thick. Secondly, I tried the Levy's Leathers PM48NP3-BLK 3" neoprene padded strap, and while it also was very comfortable, it had too much stretch too it, and my bass bounced up and down. I just tried the Mono Betty (long) today, and I think I may have found my strap! It's not as wide as the other two, yet is still padded and very comfortable. It has some stretch to it, but not too much. I found that it is the perfect happy medium in regards to sticking to my shirt...it doesn't slide all over the place, and it doesn't grip and bunch up my shirt either. Finally, the Mono books great with my Rickenbacker 4003S in jetglo!

This is a gret strap. Very well made, and very comfortable. I think I cold pull a small car with it, lol! I play Warwick basses exclusively, and they are a bit heavy, but this strap eases the load.

If you are used to a leather strap that has a suede back that holds your guitar in place, you may not like how this strap glides over your shirt.

I bought this strap to go with my Nitro finished PRS. I have had it for about eight months now and my biggest complaint is that the stitching is already starting to come undone around part that goes over the strap button on the guitar. Other than that it is an awesome strap for the money and it has not reacted with the finish of my guitar in any way.

Definitely hangs with the best straps I've ever used in the last 20+ years. While I like the pick pocket, it really isn't practical for on the fly pick grabbing. The neoprene makes it hard to get out any picks without some real effort and that is my only complaint. I still wouldn't want to hang a 13lb guitar from the this but for anything under 10.5 it works great.

It might be hard to wax superlative about a guitar strap, but in 50 years of playing, this one is the best I've found---by far. Mono makes good stuff and they really got this one right.

Everything about this strap screams quality and durability. The padding feels good on the shoulder and the strap stays in place. The materials are top notch and will last. I needed a strap that was Nitro finish friendly for my PRS. I emailed Mono and they would not come out and say that it was 100% safe... what they did say is that they never recieved any complaints about a natural finish being damaged by their straps. This was enough for me and I thought I would give it a shot. With that said the strap ends are made of some sort of stretchy rubber material that are easy to get over the strap buttons but then fit real snug around it. (gigging would require locks though) So far no damage to finish and truly an awesome strap.

Mono's website calls this the "one strap to rule them all". That's not overblown. It's the best strap ever. Incredibly comfortable, whether your guitar is light or heavy. I play Fender and Spector 5 string basses. They're heavy instruments. I need something that spreads the weight on my shoulder. This is by a massive margin the most comfortable strap I've ever used, and I have tried all kinds. No fatigue in my shoulder even after hours of playing, in fact it allows me to play longer. It would be good value at twice the price. Just buy one and see what the fuss is all about.

I've tried all of the padded synthetic straps on the market today and the MONO is quite simply the best available. Well constructed of quality materials that will last. The padding is the best I've encountered, and extends beyond the collarbone in front and along the shoulder blade in back to the spine. It is very comfortable and stays put without any shifting or sliding about. Highly Recommended!

I have two of these, one short and one long. The short length strap is great as I have it maxed out so it can never move the long strap has slid a bit when playing which changes my instrument position. The quality and comfort of these straps for bass is beyond compare.

I've been using the Sharkskin strap for about three weeks now. It's been great. Very comfortable.

I love this strap is the most comfortable strap ever. When my old Mono Strap died after 6+ years of every day use I tried to switch, so i'll gave it a try to a SoloStrap Neo and after a month of trying really hard to get use to it, I had to go back to my Mono Strap again, You feel the difference right away and now I know I'll never try to change again.

I had surgery on my right shoulder and regular straps made it hurt. This strap did the trick and I can now play without the pain.

This strap is very comfy and holds my 6 string bass without any issues. Would recommend this strap if you want to take care of your investment. Nice strap!! And of course, great customer service from Sweetwater.

i have used a lot of different brands of straps over the years, and mostly they were selected for looks... but now that i have bad discs in my spine and arthritis .. its a more careful decision...these straps are comfy...VERY comfy... the workmanship is first rate... the materials are first rate and worth every penny i spent on it... planning to buy more of these for my other guitars...oh yeah and they look great also...
