Pretty ok for the Shure GLXD16+ Transmitter

By Jim from Portland, OR

The Shure GLXD16+ Transmitter fits well but I wish it had a strap with a snap/velcro to securely hold the transmitter in. I prefer to have my wireless hanging upside down so not to bend the cable. Your transmitter will instantly slid out if it's upside down.

impulse buy...

By Robert O. from WHITEHOUSE, OH

Disappointing. Bought it and realized it doesn't fit my receiver right and it's awkward to use. Threw it in a drawer and went back to using my back pocket.

So good, I had to get more!

By Jon from Vegas
Music Background: Weekend warrior and pro sound guy

I use Sennheiser wireless units for my guitar or bass and for my IEMs. I like clipping the IEM pack to my belt, but never liked having the guitar pack on my belt or in my pocket, and the way the clips are faced, you've got this weird angle for the cable (either it sticks up or down, and has to go 90 degrees to get to the guitar's jack). Switching guitars always took an awkward shuffle of dealing with the clips... SO I looked for a great solution.

You can find neoprene pack holders, but with years of experience in theater settings, I've seen those things get loosened and beaten pretty easily. The Levy's is leather and web, like your straps! It fits the pack snugly, I can even have it facing 'upside down' without worrying if the pack is going to fall out.

I've got 3 or 4 of these now, so I can set up all the guitars or basses I'm bringing with me to make switching packs a breeze, and they look great!

I thought they were great until...

By Josh C. from Olympia, WA

I bought 3 of these because I loved the look, design, and what I thought would be functionality. If you are just standing relatively still on stage these will work just fine and hold basically any transmitter you have. But if you are jumping around or even taking your guitar on or off, your transmitter can and eventually will fall out.

At a recent gig I held my guitar above my head only to have my transmitter fall out and yeet it's batteries during the second song. Luckily I had my stagehand save me with a seamless guitar switch. But now I'm thinking of ditching these in favor of something that I won't have to cover in tape or velcro to hold the transmitter in.

Incorporate a snap or some sort of top fastener and this would be a good product.

Horrible Mic Holder

By Andrew from South Florida
Music Background: Dj-Mc 25 years

The stitching is really bad. Once a loop comes out it follows and falls apart. Horizontal on your belt. It is not comfortable bending your wrist to load and grab. Also, If you are performing, Dancing, or jumping it will fall out the front.

LIMITED FITTING

By clair

AS SOME OTHERS HAVE REPORTED,THESE HOLDERS ARE SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR EITHER SUPER THIN STRAPS,OR TO BE PUT ON THE "TAIL" OF THE STRAP.MY STRAP IS 2 1/2 INCHES WIDE,AND I TRIED JUST ATTACHING IT TO THE MAIN STRAP USING JUST THE VELCRO.NO GOOD,TOO WIDE.I HAD TO FEED THE TAIL THROUGH THE SKINNY SLOTS,AND STILL USE THE VELCRO,PLACING IT FARTHER DOWN THAN I'D LIKE,LEAVING TOO MUCH EXCESS CORD DANGLING. NO BIG DEAL,BUT IF YOU WANT TO SWITCH STRAPS,YOU HAVE TO KEEP UNDOING YOUR STRAPLOCKS,BECAUSE THEY WON'T SQUEEZE THROUGH THE SKINNY SLOTS.THIS NECESSITATES BUYING ANOTHER HOLDER FOR ANOTHER STRAP,IF,LIKE ME,YOU HAVE TO CHANGE STRAPS FOR CERTAIN GUITAR/STRAPLOCK COMBINATIONS.

These work. A little hard to set up, but easy to use!

Just right

By Tim from Houston

Perfect fit, nice and snug, without making it overly difficult to remove transmitter. Our straps were wider than the pre-cut slots, but the velcro wrap on the back made a nice attachment. Somehow this holder keeps my transmitter closer to my guitar strap. The transmitter does not flop around like it did when in my old holder.

Fits like an old glove !

By Adam R. from Colorado
Music Background: Full time pro geetarist!!!!!!!!!

I use the Line 6 G70 wireless transmitters and the con on those (IMO) is the cheap wire clips which did exactly what i knew they would do which is not hold tight and pop off of the pack.
Now these Levy's transmitter pouches are THE BOMB!
Holds the tranny snug, and protects them from smashing in to the ground during instrument changes.
VERY well made withe tight well sewn seams i cant imagine these things not lasting for YEARS!
To things for me;
I think they are a bit on the expensive side, but probably compounded by the fact that i had to buy 5 which is the minimum amount of guitars that i can get by with for my band The Long Run-Colorados Tribute to the Eagles. And I wil probably end up buying a 6th one as well-(yes i use 6 transmitters sheesh!!!)
And........
I had to buy 3 new straps because they would not fit my old 3-"4" wide leather straps. But that was about time (Tanks to Levy's for those too! :-))
Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!

Versatile!

By Curt from Portland, OR
Music Background: Semi-pro/casual

I play bass, and bought the Levy's MM4 to deal with my new Line 6 G30 transmitter. I removed the '30's own belt clip so it would fit easier into the MM4, and now it's a snug fit. The '30 has a well-known issue with the flimsy battery compartment door, but the MM4 will prevent any accidental battery "pop-out." The '30 slides up and down easily enough so I can quickly change batteries. I use an angled plug, and the bottom of the MM4's pouch protects it, quite nicely. I fed my strap through the MM4's slots and secured it all with the Velcro. I use a 1-foot cable with angle plugs on both ends. I swap between Fender Jazz, and Martin acoustic basses once in awhile but use the same strap. The MM4 slides up and down on the strap to keep the cable snug and out of the way.

Does the job !

By Jeff K. from Racine, Wisconsin

This product does the job. I use the Shure GLXD 18 wireless system and this fits the transmitter securely. Attaches to the tail thin end of my strap well. Good product, good price.

Works as Advertised

By Mark R. from Paragould, AR

I purchased this along with the FWG1010 wireless transmitter. It holds the transmitter in place and is tight enough you do not worry about it falling out. As always the Sweetwater sales team was great.

Works Great!

By Scott S. from Down In The Basement
Music Background: Mr. Muckabout

Fits a Line 6 TBP 06 (G30 transmitter) perfectly; nice 'n' snug. Slipped right on my vintage-style (read: very narrow) strap and holds firm with the velcro-lined flaps on the back. No more worrying about dropping the transmitter or the battery compartment flopping open!

Works Great with Leather Straps.

By Dave W. from Milwaukee, WI
Music Background: Active Bass Player

I had gotten one of these years ago, and am picking up a couple more. Levy's claims it works on any strap, but it's really slotted to fit the tails of leather straps. The main body slots can weave into the adjustment point on traditional leather straps (*making it not slide around), and the leather straps are grippy enough to keep the bodypack in place. Way better than trusting the clips and taping, and they look way better than those wireless pouches.
