I've collected, used, traded, been around almost all of the best of the vintage synth gear ever made, and this is 100% the real deal. Sounds very rich, and the 4 I've purchased have all come in very close to perfect calibration. Does not need the oscillator driver that so many people says it needs! First time I used one I couldn't get it to play in tune, the sync switch was on, threw me off way longer than I'd like to admit. Comes very highly recommended!

I wanted three matching oscillators for my Model 15. I grabbed one of these and it does not disappoint, really gets fat with the three of them.

The 4 waves are great, you get them all unlike some newer oscillators. This has a good sound and nice range. All on the pro side. The biggest thing for me for not 5 stars is that you have to let it warm up for 3 - 4 hours to settle.

The sound of these 921B Oscillators are as rich and thick as the originals, and these Behringer recreations are even more flexible than the original Moog implementation because they have Eurorack inputs instead of being hardwired behind the buss. This means you can control the pitch individually if you'd like. It is said that you can't use the 921B without the 921A Oscillator Driver but that's not true. They work fine stand-alone with one caveat: They do not produce a square wave by default. They produce a narrow pulse by default. You must feed voltage into the Width input to widen the pulse wave into a square wave. This is very easy to do with the System 55. Just feed the +6V voltage output of the CP35 Attenuators module into the Width input through an attenuator knob and you can control the pulse width quite easily. I bought two extra ones for my Behringer System 55 so now I have 8 of these oscillators and they have a massive sound.

It's so great to be able to experience this vintage gear. Thank you Behringer for making these recreations at an affordable price for every musician, not just the elite rich ones.

Impressive reproduction, I always dreamed of owning a model 55 but the cost made it impossible until now. I have 6 in my 55 clone with 921A drivers and they link together nicely. Patch cables get busy though, too bad Behringer didn't build a link connection on the undersides of the modules.

Pretty amazing reproduction of the old classic module.

I have four of these as well as the CV controlled unit, 921. We also use two Moogs and a fee others we can patch in.
If tuning is an issue, videos on youtube suggest as I do, that a 2 hour warmup for such modules helps. The vagaries of analog machines are enduring.

There are no instructions online or in the manual for calibrating this oscillator and the corresponding 921A oscillator driver. They are coming in the country non calibrated and even with a replacement driver the octave adjust pots are maxed and still after 3 octaves a C note is playing a sharpened B natural. Unusable. Junk.
