Corroded After Three Months
I bought this as a replacement for the box in my Ibanez RGD3121, and initially it was great. It fit perfectly, which it should, because it was the same product as the OE. I replaced the OE because the wires kept coming off the solder joints and I was tired of fixing it every few weeks. I thought this would be the be all end all solution.
It was for 3 months, then it met the same fate, except this time it so happened that the wire had corroded off the solder joint connection to the wire, the solder joint itself was fine. Not sure what the underlying issue here is, but I expected better performance from this product.
For reference I put about 5 hours on my guitar per week on average.
