Perfect
Been looking for a good fuzz without loosing tone and blend knob but this goes above and beyond with separate dry and wet control. Well done MXR, simply the best for what I need.
5 stars for making an amateur sound good
I bought a bass at the beginning of COVID. Being isolated, I've been teaching myself to play. This pedal is so incredibly badass, it even makes me sound good. Just imagine what it could do for you!
I chose the MXR over the others for its separate wet/dry controls. I saw it in action on the Sweetwater video.
I love the way I get the fuzz without losing the thump. Even with no fiddling around, and everything set to 12 o'clock, the sound is supreme. The paint job is gorgeous too. Sure, it's a little more money than some of the other offerings, but it's worth it.

Another great product by MXR!
I continue to be amazed by Dunlop MXR effects, and the MXR84 Bass Fuzz Deluxe is an excellent compliment to their other great bass effects, of which I own all of them! The Fuzz added exactly the sound I was needing, with no feedback or outside noise. Heavy-duty construction that will hold up under use, but in a small, easy to handle size. Sweetwater is the best: they carry the best products delivered with the best service!
Sweet pedal that adds a workable fuzz
If you need to gritty up parts of your sound, this pedal does the trick. It doesn't get muddy, it stays pretty tight and also clear.
Best Bass Fuzz
I finally replaced my oversized EH Deluxe Bass Big Muff with this. Everything I need and nothing I don't with a small footprint. I've tried about 10 different bass fuzz pedals and nothing comes close to topping this one.
Impressive
I picked this up for two reasons. The first being separate wet and dry controls. Every bassist worries about losing bottom end once the gain pedal kicks in, but this one retains ALL of the fundamentals of my bass. The second reason was I've owned four MXR bass pedals over the years and liked all of them, and this one is my favorite pedal of the now five I've used. Only gripe, and it's incredibly minor, is I would have liked having the dry signal being all the way down to produce no low end from the bass, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This won't be leaving my board anytime soon.

Mxr bass fuzz deluxe
This pedal has been around a few years, but it's new to me. It is replacing an EHX Bass Big muff on my board. Most bass fuzz pedals experience some low end loss, however, this one seems to add low end, due to the dry blend knob. Alot of really usable tones in this pedal! I'm impressed for sure!

Actually the product name says it all.
It is deluxe fuzz for your bass. The independent level controls
for wet and dry signal let you dial in the perfect amount of
thump and distortion for any application. The pedal is well
made, the copper paint job looks great and the knobs are solid.
The LED is blinding if you look at it head on.
