Great Baritone Guitar

By Dan M Sandall from Los Angeles on December 11, 2023 Music Background: 50+ years as a violinist/violist, 40+ year guitarist.

This guitar came in set up as a six-string bass and it played wonderfully but I had purchased to restring as a baritone guitar (75-17). I converted it over the weekend and love he guitar even more as a baritone. I would encourage anyone interested in the guitar to not hesitate...go ahead and get one. You'll love your new addition to your guitar collection! Especially when it is set up as a baritone (B/E/A/D/F#/B).

I now have two Fender telecasters (one '72 and one new from the Fender Custom shop), and a '72 Fender Strat and now this addition. I love them all.

MY DREAM GUITAR

By Chris from Denver on November 15, 2023 Music Background: 30 years experience, self taught, many styles.

I MUST have this guitar. I had the Squire, but sold it due to the intonation problems. It's not fair.....I want this more than anything!! And in Lake Placid Blue? Oy vey!! .....I'm developing breathing issues thinking about this. ;)

Just incredible!

The Vintera II Bass VI is absolutely unreal! I did a full setup and it is playing like a dream! Offset Fender Guitars for life!

Fixes all the issues I had with my Squier CV Bass VI, then some!

By Jason Roberts from Midlothian, VA on October 3, 2023

I've had this for about a week, and already it inspired me to write and record a song! This thing was intimated properly right out of the box, something I could never quite get my Squier CV Bass VI to do even after replacing the bridge with a Mastery Bridge (that low E just wouldn't get there). I played the Squier for the last year and a half, even used it to record quite a few rhythm guitar tracks on one of my newest albums, but had to constantly retune the thing after every take...it was exhausting. I had to sidestep the intonation issues with tuning for the part I was playing, depending where I was on the fretboard. I also was only able to find one usable rhythm tone with the Squier (bridge pickup) and the bass cut switch was unusable. The Fender Vintera II Bass VI took care of that...every pickup combination I've tried sounds great, including the bass cut (on or off) and I'm in love with the ease of play with this neck. Just all around great, and if I find anything negative I'll update the review later...but for now, I'm in love with this Bass VI.

A fire hydrant of inspiration

By Paul LeFrancois from Burbank, CA on October 3, 2023

Whether you started playing bass or guitar or are totally new to anything strung, this instrument has been a long time coming from Fender and has opened up the tone floodgates.

Go out and play one and you'll know.
