Very disappointing
The internet has been buzzing about these guitars for a couple of years and I decided to give one a try. Apparently, the Indonesian models are favored and sought after more than the Chinese. As luck would have it, I would buy a Chinese model, much to my dismay.
Right out of the box, this thing is unplayable. The set-up is absolutely horrible, as if the final inspector knows nothing about guitars. The action is so low and the truss rod is so bad that every string, every fret has horrible buzz. The strings are rusty and the tops of the frets are grimy. The edges are sharp and I cut my finger removing it from the packaging. If I can't get this thing set up right with a fresh set of strings and a whole slew of adjustments, I will be sending it back. I paid $ for it so I didn't expect to be perfect but right now it's not even worth half of that.
