Kramer Baretta Electric Guitar - Bumblebee Yellow Reviews
It has been nearly 40 years since its debut, and the Kramer Baretta continues to turn heads with its retro-cool aesthetic and hard-rocking tone. Most notably wielded by the late-great Eddie Van Halen, the Baretta's single-pickup design and Floyd Rose locking tremolo made it a must-have for shredders needing a stripped-down solution for gigs. The modern Baretta delivers more of the same screaming tone and effortless playability, delivered through a single Seymour Duncan JBTM humbucker and a genuine Floyd Rose. From its maple body to the maple neck and the fingerboard, the Baretta's tonewoods are thoroughly top notch, sturdy and sleek in the hands while adding sonic brightness and tight, beefy lows. Throw on the whammy bar, and you can bend and dive all night in perfect pitch, courtesy of the Floyd Rose's double-locking system. In need of some serious sonic heat? Add the Kramer Baretta to your collection for stellar tone in any setting!

Great Guitar
It was everything I expected for the price point. The few blemishes from the demo model was very negligible. I was able to add a few decals to it to make it a 80s style rocker guitar that's fun to play.
Beautiful guitar
Just the way I wanted, simple, one humbucker, no need for a tone knob. The whole thing is made out of maple, the body, neck and fretboard. The tremelo was floating a little bit when I got it but made a quick adjustment and now it's decked , so I can make adjustments with tuning. I love the way the fretboard feels too when playing. Best looking guitar I have too.
Worth every penny!
If you're a fan of 80's shredders and hair metal then this is the guitar for you! Plain and simple with the one knob and pickup. Everything about this guitar is beautiful! Can't go wrong with Sweetwater's excellent customer service and fast shipping.
Killer vibe
Having played the eighties with a Van Halenized '82 Strat,
This guitar easily has that exact same vibe. Straight forward and take no prisoners attitude this guitar has the basics it takes to crank out some serious Hard Rock or Metal. I plug it straight into my Blackstar HT50 stack and it sounds perfect. Very fast neck. Yellow color is also a standout. Very happy with this purchase!
it's a Baretta
Placed the order on this guitar.... Even though all the sale prices were on the other models and colors from Kramer. about 2 hours later I got a phone call from sweetwater asking about the order ..... To make sure I was happy with my on-line order. I said, YES but I really wanted the sale price on the other color Baretta. I think it was gray that was on sale. BUT YELLOW IS SO MUCH COOLER and in your face! LOL I told him it was ok ... I really like the yellow one and sometimes you want what you want... Even if it's not on sale. I did get the mid-grade SKB case for it as well. So this was a good amount of money for the guitar and the case.
1) Can't believe they called me within 2 hours of my order
2) HOLY COW ... My sales guy even called me 3days after I received the guitar and case to make sure I was happy with it.. HOLY COW !
3) I got a deal. on the guitar I really wanted with a great case.
Setup on my new Kramer. I can say the setup was good out of the box. Did I change to my liking .. YES i did. But the out of the box setup was fine. Not sure if this is a every order thing or not. But They will get my next order. Witch I did speak to my salesman about. A custom Kramer. just have to see if Sweetwater can pull off a custom ordered to my specs Kramer.
Happy with this order. The Kramer Baretta is a great guitar. Stock with a FR bridge and JB pickups. Mine had full size pots and the wiring inside was clean and well done. Frets were clean and level. No fret spout No glue or over spray. I could not fine 1 problem with the fit and finish
Fast playing, great feeling axe
This guitar is a Time Machine to the 80's. Fast playing, and great sounding guitar with the single bridge humbucker. Volume pot wasn't the best but I changed that out anyways. Thanks Tony Ruffi for always helping me out. He's the man.
It’s a Great buy
The guitar arrived set-up the way I like it without mentioning, played it for an 1/2 hour and put on a D-Tuna for drop D. Thank you Tyler Moore for working with me…
Simple and Solid
There's not a not of bells and whistles to this guitar. One pickup, one knob, decked Floyd, that's it. It doesn't have much by way of features but everything it does have us well done.
Pickup is a Seymour Duncan JB. Knob does series/parallel which is very useful for clean tones. Floyd is a 1000 series so it's steel not just junky pot-metal. This guitar does less so it can do what it does better. Picture a Les Paul Jr. with a rock-solid vibrato system.
Only reason I didn't give it a 5 of 5 is there was a paint drip in the finish inside the bottom cutaway. Nobody will ever know it's there but me, but 5/5 means perfect, not almost perfect.
