6-string Acoustic Guitar - BackPacker Classical with Gigbag

If you need a "grab and go" practice guitar-this is all you need! Great tone and feel and very sturdy.

It's a small guitar very smooth sounding, easy to play and very light.. You can carry it anywhere and just play... Warm sound and well balanced tone...

A Great Travel Guitar

By Mark Peterson from Crestwood, Ky on May 8, 2012 Music Background: Classical Guitar Player

I really like this guitar because it is light, and sturdy and very easy to transport. While it's volume is low, it has a nice sound. I bought this so I could travel and still keep up my practice and it has served me well on two separate trips so far.

Great Little Guitar

By Frank Nicosia from Lindenhurst, NY on April 18, 2020 Music Background: Amateur musician

I was originally looking for the steel string Backpacker model but Sweetwater and all the others didn't have. I was on the fence about the classical model but after speaking to my always helpful Sweetwater rep Carl Bleke I decided to pull the trigger and bought it. It came yesterday and I am totally satisfied. Yes it isn't as loud as a steel string model and the action is higher than I would like but it's fun to play. I'm sure I'll get plenty of enjoyment from playing it. Especially during this pandemic.

Everything as advertised

By Jerry Hawkins from Fuquay-Varina, NC USA on March 6, 2014 Music Background: Amateur music lover

The Martin backpacker is a neat guitar. It lacks a bit of the tone I had hoped for, but it is a backpack packer after all. Overall I'm pleased and I am more than pleased with the wonderfulSweetwater service. I highly recommend these folks.

Backpacker now in Classical!!

By Jean from Berlin, CT on August 19, 2013 Music Background: Music Therapist

Generally very pleased with my classical backpacker. Nice wide finger board and decent sound for the size. Worked well traveling on airplanes; fit either under the seat of smaller planes or in the overhead of larger jets. I used it in a presentation at the Kennedy Ctr and it got rave reviews from the audience members!
