Love the bass I wish they come in cosmic blue starburst 6string model but I must say thanks to jimmy hart my sales person who work so patiently with me and it paid off this 5string BTB705LMCTL is awesome I love the tune, color and Ibanez you built one awesome bass .

I just got this yesterday, but I wanted to leave my first impressions. It was great right out of the box (thanks for the great setup, Jen S!). The neck is super thin and playable (I tried a different brand at a local music store and the neck felt like a baseball bat). I took right to the multiscale fretboard as if it were simply natural. I put on Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt strings and have been toying around with sounds on my Line6 POD. For now I'm doing so with the active eq turned off. It sounds clean and balanced. And, of course, the bass is absolutely beautiful! I have a first-run 1999 BTB1000, which has been my only bass for the last 24 years. It was love at first play, and my new one has lived up to the quality of my first one. Shout out to Ashton V for all of his help over the last bunch of years I've been coming to Sweetwater!
