I play in several bands and use the Yamaha DTX 700 drum module, and Yamaha Ecymbals...I'm also a sound engineer and know for a fact good cables make a big difference in lower noise and to a degree improve clarity....So I decided to replace the cheap patch cables that came with my drum module....After hooking everything up, I started to play the kit...First thing I noticed, was improved clarity and increased loudness in all of my pads...I heard the nuances of the snare, and cymbals...It was a big difference...The cables are very good, although the sleeve on one end tends to loosen, that's why the four stars....Any drummer out there using edrums, and using the stock cables that usually comes with the unit...Tear that stuff out and replace, the Pro Co cables are well made, seem durable and are worth every penny...They are a good mid priced cable, won't break the bank, and do the job quite nicely...Sweetwater as usual a pleasure to order with.....Now I'm wondering, would the Pro Co quad cables be even better, I guess I'll never know, because these cables will last and probably out live me.......
