The BP-100 is Fishman's classic, bridge-mounted upright bass pickup. This dual-element, piezo-ceramic pickup covers all of your bases, yielding deep, sustained pizzicato tones along with snappy articulation and an up-front direct string sound. We really dig the sound of the BP-100 here at Sweetwater. That said, we've found that you need to pair it with an impedance-matching preamp to really appreciate it. For top-shelf upright bass tone onstage, it's hard to surpass the Fishman BP-100.
Fishman Pickup
Great pickup for the price! However, the treble end is much louder than the bass end. To solve this, install the pickup sensors onto the bottom of the bridge instead of on the top. It balances the sound and works really well!
