RME BO9632XLRMKH Analog Breakout Cable

RME BO9632XLRMKH Analog Breakout Cable Reviews
RME's BO9632XLRMKH breakout cable gives you the balanced analog connectivity you need for your RME HDSP 9632 and HDSPe AIO PCI/PCIe interfaces. Plug this cable's 15-pin D-sub connector to your RME interface and choose among four XLR analog connections, two MIDI connection, and one 1/4" headphone jack.
Balanced is Better
I was getting good results with the unbalanced RCA-type connectors that come with the HDSPe for AD conversion, but I saw the noise floor drop a bit more in the TotalMix interface when I connected the balance breakout cable. Note that this is personal to my situation, and should be taken with a grain of salt, as it might make no difference on your Mac or PC.
I think the balanced breakout cable is worth it if you're using the analog inputs and/or outputs instead of external converters. This will also allow you to use long XLR cables from your preamps without signal loss.
