3.5 Stars - doesn’t fit MIM
I bought this because it was described as fitting standard jazz basses. I have a MIM jazz (albeit older) but just a regular "standard" model jazz. This nut is too wide and the spacing on the string grooves was different. After an hour or so of sanding and shaping, I got it to fit ok.
Not for a MIM Fender Jazz Bass.
Although it's listed and packaged as a nut for a 'Fender Jazz Bass', it is too long overall and the slot spacings are cut incorrectly... at least for an '02 MIM Fender Jazz Bass.
