Roland KC-300 Replacement 12 inch Speaker
Thank you to Adam Trudel Sales Engineer and staff at Sweetwater for finding me a replacement 12 inch Speaker for my Roland KC-300 Keyboard Amplifier. I replaced the original with the Eminence Beta 12A-2 Speaker and the Audio frequency Response was great. I also consulted with the Audio Engineers at the Eminence Speaker Company in Eminence Kentucky. I give Sweetwater and Eminence a 5 Star rating. I use the Roland KC-300 Keyboard with my Hammond SK1. Replacement driver for monitor
I used this as a driver replacement for an old Yamaha BR12M that had the voice coil fail after 12 years and lots of shows (not bad!). The price was great, has the 8 ohm impedance I needed, fit with no problem, and it works well in a loud stage monitor. Eminence specs these at 500W program, which is a little more than the BR12 rating (300W program). It has a nice clear sound and seems to match well with the crossover and tweeter.

Great Replacement Woofer
This woofer is better than any other 12" speaker I've ever used. It has great lows and is very sturdy. I think that it is an exceptional replacement for PA cabinets. It has a wonderful warm sound that you just can't get from a JBL or Goldwood.
Great for Small Bass Caminet
Fitted this in a Hartke that sounded like a Hartke. Nice fit, made the am a little heavier, but added a ton of tone for my P-Bass.
Beta12a-II
Used the Beta12a-II's in sealed Klipsch cabinets. Very clean, tight sounding drivers that match the small cabs well.
A fine replacement
How can you go wrong with Eminence speakers, really!!! I replaced the original main drivers of a pair of Altec model fifteen;s and they do perform very well. I am a happy camper.
