Phenomenal tone and bottom end
I previously had a Remo Pinstripe on the batter side of my Pearl Masters Custom 22x16, plus a small internal pillow, but was very unhappy with the sound. I replaced it with this UV EMAD and Evans nylon EQ patch and the difference is phenomenal. It's now a cannon, and the smaller foam ring gives me just the right amount of sustain and tone without needing any other dampening. Lighter hits sound warm and full, and heavier hits introduce a "click" sound on impact accompanied by phenomenal volume and bottom end.
