Brilhart Ebolin Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece - 7 Reviews
Arnold Brilhart, a first-call session saxophonist working in New York’s broadcast and recording studios, launched his line of unique mouthpiece designs in 1939. In the ensuing decades, Brilhart emerged as one of the big names in saxophone mouthpieces. From Charlie Parker to Joshua Redman, Brilhart mouthpieces have been favored by many prominent jazz players. With vintage Brilharts from the ’40s and ’50s regarded as highly coveted and increasingly rare, it’s comforting to know that they are once again being manufactured to original specs. Today’s Brilhart Ebolin Alto Sax Mouthpiece is a modern-day re-creation of one of Arnold Brilhart’s enduring designs. Brilhart is back!!!
I absolutely love the flexibility this mouthpiece gives me, it's dark and smooth if I want it to sub tone and get that Desmond miles sound it will thrive there but I can also add a little air and there is a brilliance that just hangs on the end of the notes. The shop card that is actually signed by the finisher and play tester is really cool.
