I can't say enough good things about this crash cymbal, it's a work of art to look at and a beautiful instrument to play. Don't let the 20" size deter you from it, it's very sensitive so what you put in is what you get out.
Truly unique!
This is one unique cymbal! I'd say it lives somewhere between crash, trash crash, China cymbal, and gong. It's incredibly sensitive, thin, and light (you can bend it nearly in half with your hands). You can almost crash it just from the bell, which houses some seriously ghostly sounds. It has a quick decay with gong-like overtones. You can also get a very interesting white-noise type sound on recordings. Looks and sounds like a one-of-a-kind work of art. Try this cymbal out if you can - and try it with mallets!

I am completely blown away by the sound of this symbol. It's trashy, dark, and fits so many different styles of music. I was really Blown Away by the sound characteristics of this symbol. I bought the 20-inch symbol but I recommend getting a size that suits your needs. I'm all about big crashes at the 20-inch extra dry thin crash is amazing.
