I use these as my second, aux hats. They're much darker than my primaries, which gives them their own voice. They also look visually interesting.

These hi hats are the best sounding cymbals I've ever played. I went from zildjian 13" A custom to K custom to these and they are so well rounded they fit into any style of music and can be played with anything imaginable. They're expensive but are totally worth it. Buy these hats before they disappear. They're the best you can get.

Outside of my favorite crash cymbal of all time (Thunder Butter), these beautiful looking and equally beautiful sounding hats have become a big part of my signature sound. Warm yet crisp!! They're so good, that they've been stolen from me TWICE (recovered once but in real bad shape), hints why this is my third time buying them and I'm not messed up about it!!

These are the best sounding hi-hats I have ever played and it's not even close.

My church has these hi hats and I always loved the sound and look of these. I originally played Zildjian cymbals, but I couldn't get these out my head. Once I've bought these, I immediately fell in love with these hats! Like, WOW!! They're so dry and trashy, but also blends beautifully with the songs played at church. Never parting with these!

These are pretty much perfect in every way. Volume is just right, stick definition is crisp, and the wash is great too. Very dynamic and versatile. Expensive but worth it. Buy em up!!!

Trashy, musical, gnarly. They fit with just about any style. They sound better in person than any video I've ever seen.

I normally don't write reviews but felt compelled to leave some feedback on these hi hats since there wasn't much on them. I played a set of these... and was totally blown away by the sound. I immediately purchased a set once I made it back home and am really glad I did. Cymbals in general are a very personal choice. These strike a really great balance between your more typical hi hats and larger, darker, dryer hi hats. They are extremely musical with a hint of trash... My normal set of hi hats are Istanbul Agop traditional dark medium 16" hi hats. They are amazing sounding (really loud) hats but these are on another level. Excellent chick sound and very expressive. I initially purchased these thinking they could fill a void for recording projects that call for something a little more unique and unconventional but these really cover a lot of ground. I wouldn't hesitate to use these as my only pair of hats. You really need to play these things first hand to experience them.

I have owned so many pairs of hi hats that I literally lost count. I am a huge byzance fanatic and recently bought these brand new from sweetwater here. The only thing I can say is WOW! These may be the absolute finest pair of hi hats ever made...period! They have a nice regular hi hat chick and bite but with the warmth of dry hi hats, but without the trash can lid syndrome that dry hats can have. They just sound perfect, musical and unbelievably fun to play. They are expensive but honestly well worth the price. These might be the only pair I never sell!
