Speaker sounds great its loud & clear at the 10 & 12 o'clock position but the mp3 player sucks. Mp3 player doesnt read all the songs u put on a flash drive & the random is not that good it plays same songs over again. These speakers are not made to push wide open.

Nurse

I love to be one of the best gospel musician about using song to convey my personal story. So to become a good gospel singer I want to belief behind what I am singing, even if I am not a Pastor. And there is a lot within the gospel music that anyone can identify with: themes of love, or peace to be a better person. But don't fake it; people can usually tell.

Behringer Eurolive B112MP3

By Kurtass from Fort Wayne
Music Background: Audiophile/critic

I bought this for work. Had the Behringer MPA40BT before this one, just needed something louder to hear over the machines. It is plenty loud and sounds great. Have had complaints from management about the volume. Many more complaints from my coworkers that do not like my music selections.

The MP3 player is the weak link in this speaker. It will stop working at least once a day. The random is not very random, hear the same songs all the time. I have over 3000 songs on the USB I'm using. It also does not read all the artist on the USB. I know they are there, because have used the USB in other devices. If you want to hear a certain album, it takes forever to find them being that it scrolls only by pressing the forward or back button. One.....................Album................At................A.................Time. With over 200 albums you can see the problem with that.

I should of purchased the one with Bluetooth. The reason I didn't is because I didn't want my phone with me while working.

If it had a better MP3 player, I would of gave it 5 stars.

Behringer Eurolive B112MP3

By Max G. from Saint Louis
Music Background: several decades of semi-pro work

A bit of background...I use a Fishman Soloamp for some gigs in smaller venues and it works great but the low frequencies are just a bit weak on the acoustic guitar. I thought of getting a subwoofer but the weight, cost and singular purpose of a subwoofer did not seem practical for merely adding a little to the low end of an acoustic guitar.
I decided to try the B112MP3 to add a little low frequency but with a lighter more flexible piece of gear.
I wasn't sure how this would work. I had some high expectations but also some concerns.
The unit is fairly lightweight at less than 28lbs and fairly compact at about 11"x13"x23. The weight and size are great for moving and set-up.
It has plenty of volume/power and sounds great. The inputs and controls make it very adjustable and the built in MP3 player functions well and sounds good too.
It worked very well for adding a nice bit of low end to my solo PA sound.
The B112MP3 has numerous other possible uses:
- like an "acoustic" amp for jams
- a compact PA for a soloist
- a side fill monitor for a band or duo
- post mount makes it useful as a supplemental PA speaker for rooms with odd shapes or extra rooms
- the angled back allows it to be used a s floor monitor
- MP3 player can be used for break music
- MP3 can be used for portable background music at yard or house party
I have had, and still own, several other pieces of gear made by Behringer. All of it has held up well to regular use.
Some of the engineering could be a bit better but overall, the bang for the buck is pretty good.
