Ernie Ball Axis Capo - Blue Steel Satin
Ernie Ball Axis Capo - Blue Steel Satin Reviews
Ernie Ball's Axis Capo has made quite a splash with guitarists in need of an ergonomic, easy-to-use capo for 6- or 7-string electric or acoustic guitars. Boasting a rugged aluminum housing and a slick, single-handed operation, this lightweight capo also features a dual-radius design for use with flat or curved fretboards, along with optimal clamping pressure for buzz-free deployment. The Axis Capo from Sweetwater also incorporates precision-molded rubber pads to safeguard your instrument against scratches.

I bought this capo yesterday, and I plan on taking it back today. This capo grips the fretboard really hard, but I noticed that the strings still shift underneath the clamp, which causes tuning instability and buzzing. I tried the capo on my two American Fenders, Gibson Les Paul Traditional and Caparison Dellinger and got the same result.
Also, if you're the type that stores your capo on the headstock between songs/practice sessions, this capo isn't the one for you. It absolutely WILL NOT stay on. It clamps at an odd angle, and will flop around and fly off the guitar regardless of how well you try to set it. I use a capo a lot and play almost exclusively in open tunings, so this is a deal-breaker for me.
I'll stick with my Kyser capos. Cheap, and reliable.
