Fender Avalon Tenor Ukulele - Daphne Blue Reviews
The Avalon Tenor Ukulele from Fender is a well-balanced instrument built for comfort with iconic SoCal Fender vibes. The Avalon’s satin-finished basswood body features a comfortable tenor profile, a slight step up from smaller soprano and concert sizes. The tenor uke is still incredibly portable but speaks with a slightly bigger voice and enhanced bass.

Well made Ukulele
I wanted a Ukulele to learn how to play. No special reason other than my Grandson has one and thought I should learn. The Ukulele is well made. It has binding around the top and bottom of the body. It also has binding on both sides of the neck. The tuning keys are ok, but one tuning button rattles if there isn't tension on it from the strings. There are no blemishes in the finish. I didn't do any research on the types of Ukuleles and didn't know the difference between the tenor, concert, or soprano, so I bought the tenor. My Grandson ran his fingers over the strings and commented how different mine sounds compared to his. He has a Concert model. I bought a Gator nylon bag for it and it fits in the bag perfectly. Being used to playing a guitar, I didn't know what to expect out of the Ukulele. Nothing wrong with the Uke, just not my cup of tea. It will spend its life in the bag in my music room.
