Universal Audio Apollo Solo Heritage Edition USB-C Audio Interface with UAD DSP Reviews
Universal Audio’s Apollo Solo Heritage Edition brings a USB Apollo to Windows users at the lowest price ever. This USB-C audio interface is the real deal — it’s loaded with UA's next-generation AD/DA converters and two Unison mic preamps for top-shelf sound quality. What’s more, you get a premium suite of five award-winning plug-in titles, along with the Realtime Analog Classics bundle to lend an album-quality sheen to your projects. Whether you use them in real time during tracking or later while you're mixing, these powerful plug-ins supply you with access to an array of classic mic preamps, compressors, EQs, reverbs, and more. Plus, you’ll capture everything with near-zero latency, thanks to the lightning-fast speeds of USB 3.0. The Universal Audio Apollo Solo is a cost-effective way to enter into the world of UAD Powered Plug-ins and is a great way for UAD-equipped studios to take their projects mobile.
New for
Amazing Upgrade
I've used the Focusrite Scarlett and M-Audio Duo interfaces, they do what you need them to, no complaints. The UA Apollo blows them away. I've instantly noticed smoother operation, less choked CPU under pressure of multiple plugins, including Omnisphere (which I could previously only run on one track without sound cutting out and crackling) and of course access to UA's hardware exclusives is a dream. The design is smooth, it feels VERY sturdy, and the start up click sounds are endearing. The ONLY downside I would mention is the data cable is NOT included with the interface and this IS mentioned but easily overlooked so make sure to buy one alongside the USB version!
Love it
The apollo solo heritage edition is amazing. Im new to anything from UA. But im glad I made the move to get it.
Very satisfied.
If you want an interface to work with your daw for not buy this!
If you work with your DAW this interface has a tremendous amount of latency. The only way to use it really is to use the little mixer it comes with. Not good, not good at all. You have to plug it in but I will say it sounds good just too much latency while using DAW.
Really nice for the money
I've gone through 3 interfaces, upgrading slightly every year or two. I really wish this would have been my first interface. I get really clean mixes from it. I have had it for almost 2 years now and I'm still happy with it. I'm sure I'll upgrade one more time, but the only reason is to get more preamps.
Also, I love the uad plugin bundle, especially the native ones.
Great product
Such a great product. My instruments and vocals sound so much cleaner than my starter interface. Kind of wish i had gone up one level, but other than that, completely satisfied.

Excelente equipo....
All the hype
This interface is everything I expected. I am not a professional musician, but i like to record my songs. It is really easy to use and guitars and bass sound really nice. I especially get really good bass tones through the svt.
My only regret is that I didn't get the twin for the extra dsp. But for the price, this is perfect for a hobbyist.
Game Changer
To say this is a upgrade from my starter interface is an understatement. I was just playing around with the plugins and the tone on these things is killer. This thing is powerful and worth the money
absolutely love mine !
i love the design, the interface, the plugins, etc.. great buy!
