Clarity on a budget
I bought these in anticipation of using them as IEMs in my church band environment (guitar and lead vocal).
While I have yet to experience that aspect of the design, I currently use them as my primarily listening earpieces on my phone, and even as a single driver unit, I can hear some of the studio quality I couldn't hear on wired EarPods. I'm sure I might upgrade at some point in the future, but I'm also certain I picked a pretty solid starting point with the Aonic 215s!
Wow, what a difference.
I wasn't sure what to expect with these earphones from some of the reviews I read but I decided to give them a chance. I am so glad I did. I replaced a ~$ pair of earphones that I was using with Xvive monitor system. I had no idea what I was missing. I sing and play the guitar to lead our worship and the clarity these offered was incredible. My voice and the guitar were very distinct but blended and I was finally hearing the 'real' sound. It boosted my confidence and made playing more enjoyable. Give these a try if you're on the fence.
Okay for In Ear monitors
I have two pairs of these, one in clear and one in blue. The cable length on the blue pair is significantly shorter than that of the clear. Those differences aside, I Have them plugged into a Behringer P1 for live music at church and I find these earphones cut out often depending on my movement, which isn't much considering the environment. I've confirmed my own findings with other members of the team who own the same equipment. I thought, at first it might be the cable I was using between the P1 and the 215s but after getting new cables and testing other in ears, I've come to the conclusion it's the 215's and not the rest of the equipment. I've already upgraded to another brand and do not have the same issue I had with the 215s.
Awesome
Earbuds Works great I really enjoyed noise cancellation
Great for recording or just listening.
I use these for recording drums. They allow me to not have to destroy my ears just to hear the track I'm recording to. They don't sound amazing but for the price they do a great job of blending sound cancelation and good sound. Would definitely recommend.
Lost Bass
I like the feel of the buds, takes a bit of getting used to, but so much loss of bass frequencies in my opinion.
