The PreSonus AIR15 active PA speaker is compact and lightweight, but it produces extended lows and natural-sounding highs. Terrible
Tried one to use as a keyboard amp for my Nord 6D. Maybe I got a bad one, but it sounded very one-dimensional, with very muddy bass and brash highs. When I turned the volume up (still at room volume, not a gig), it stepped down in volume to about half. Safety mechanism? Not sure, but it sounded terrible anyway.

I"m glad I bought these speakers....very clear even at high volume levels. Can"t wait for my subs to come in .
Wow, just Wow!
I never really associated speakers w/ Presonus. I have a Presonus mixer that is phenomenal but hadn't tried their speakers. Well, that all changed last week when our band picked up a set of Presonus AIR15's. These speakers are absolutely incredible. The clarity of the highs is unbelievable while still dropping a nice tight & powerful amount of bass out the woofer.
They look classy and are very light weight which is a big plus. The push button adjustment for the 7 degree down angle when placing them on a stand up on a stage is a little touch of genius! The speakers are able to maintain clarity up to their peak volume which is uncommon in this price range!
I can't say enough about these speakers, you cannot go wrong with these speakers!
These speakers are incredible.
I borrowed a pair of these (along with some subs) to DJ a wedding reception and two things shocked me about this speaker: 1. It's lighter than you expect. Set-up and tear-down were a cinch. 2. It sounds WAY better than you'd expect from such a light-weight speaker (low end is tight, not tubby; highs are clear, not piercing). Can't overstate how pleased I am with the AIR series in general.

I Love my 2 PreSonus AIR15’s and 1 AIR15S Sub. I did my first gig with them last weekend and they really sound great. They were crisp and clear and the sub had a lot of punch. I would highly recommend them. I was using a PreSonus RM32AI as a mixer and sound guy used iPad to mix the show. We use EIM for monitors. Sounds great.

I had picked up another brand of 12" speakers that are really popular and was disappointed. After talking to some people and noticing that I already have a bunch of great Presonus gear, I decided to try these bad boys out. I am so glad I did! They are nice and loud! Crystal Clear! Light weight! They have a great long throw! In the last few weeks I have used them as Mains, Side Fills, and Monitors and I feel they work great in any position. I will be getting a second pair in the near future to start building out a second rig.
