battery is not replaceable

By Gary C. from Menahga, MN

this is a great amp, but there is no replacement for the battery when it goes bad, yep Fender does not have a replacement because it was made in china. Ive tried to contact the company that made the battery, no luck, so good luck on this amp

Great back-up amp!

By Mike from Asheville NC
Music Background: Several stringed instruments, working bands and play with friends

My Go has proven its value several times now when our bluegrass group needed a bit more volume when jamming, rehearsing or performing in small community centers or on the street where electricity can be an issue. I often keep the Go in my car since it is light weight, small, and battery powered.
At one of our scheduled shows, someone forgot the mixing board, PA speakers, DI boxes, and extension cords, so we plugged in two mics into the Fender and ran a line from it to our only monitor that was placed on the one speaker stand we had. The instruments had enough volume (we moved closer up to the stage front) and our voices were amplified just enough to fill out the room (about 120 people) with just minor tweaking of the amp's controls.

Acoustic pro jr

By Billy R. from Spring Creek Nv
Music Background: I’m a singer , songwriter , and guitarist pro for over 55 years , I’m 68 years young .

Well I've had it for about two weeks . I needed an amp to work with my acoustisonic tele's I have an American and Mexican made models . But they didn't sound right through my other amps . With the pro jr they're voices come through load and clear . Both acoustic and electric side . The effects sound pretty transparent. And this amp has a deep sound . A really good bass response . The highs aren't harsh , it has a tweeter does the job . I would recommend the foot pedal it makes use of the effects on the fly nicely. Also the looper is great , it's easy to use for some one who doesn't like a lot of buttons . My only gripe is , I don't believe this amp is 100watts RMS . Doesn't sound that load . How ever if you need more you can run a preamp out to the PA system and problem solved it has stereo outs one for each channel . Also this amp looks pro and the tilt back is cool . And it's light . Important to me cause I'm a gigging singer songwriter and guitarist . For a pickup and go it's really pretty awesome . Oh let's not forget it also has a battery. I've had on for four hours at gig level volumes . So if you have acoustisonic this amp could make you smile . Talk to my friend Patric Dennis at sweetwater he will set you up .

Love it

By David from Las Vegas,Nevada
Music Background: I stayed at a Holiday Inn once

This is an amazing amp that goes anywhere, it's almost perfect! LOL
I gave it 4 1/2 stars not 5 stars because of design. I am a little particular and the bright light on the effects selector switch is quite annoying . Fender needs to do the simple fix and add a red lense or a gel.
This will be my favorite amp for everything!!!

Enough volume for outdoor use

By Brandon F. from Evansville, IN
Music Background: Liturgical and Worship music, 25+ years experience

I already owned a Fender Acoustic 100, and I used that in August for a projected "movie on the quad" so the students could be socially distanced and outdoors and still hear the movie. So when we were doing a student retreat, that was going to have several events outdoors but not near an electrical plug, I got this because I knew it was capable. Worked like a charm with enough volume to be heard in an outdoor space, even with soft-spoken people talking not-quite-into the microphone. Battery worked spectacularly; I plugged it in between uses, but it was never discharged enough to get out of the blinking-green phase.

Prefer my Loudbox Mini

By Tagg W. from Salt Lake City, UT
Music Background: Intermediate Bedroom Guitarist

Harsher and muddier than my Loudbox Mini. Volume knob at half is equivalent to volume knob at 25% on Loudbox Mini, so quieter than the Loudbox Mini too. I wanted to love it because of the built-in Looper. The effects sound great too - just overall the win goes to the Loudbox Mini. Guitars used were a Martin D-18 with an LR Baggs Anthem SL and a GS Mini Koa with the ES-b.
