Elixir Strings 16077 Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings - .012-.056 Medium Light Reviews
Elixir Acoustic Nanoweb strings don't just sound great their micro-thin coating keeps them sounding great for a lot longer than average strings. If you want to keep your guitar tone consistently great day in and day out, put on a set of Elixir Acoustic Nanoweb strings. Their coating actually cuts down on unnecessary finger friction. You'll be amazed at how long they last! Less string changes means having to buy strings less often.

Simply the best...
As a full-time working acoustic soloist, I play between three and six dates a week, every week, and the Elixir strings have proven to be the most road-worthy strings I've ever used. The clarity and brightness of tone are complimented by full sounding bass response on my Larrivee six string, giving me a well balanced sound in both accompaniment and lead roles.
What really sells me on the Elixirs however is how long they last. Sets vary, as do playing conditions (I do lots of outdoor patio gigs in humid Summer weather) but I've never used any other string that maintains its quality of sound as long as the Nanoweb Phosphor Bronze strings. Most times I can get two to three weeks out of a set, as opposed to two or three nights out of other brands. I have tried a couple other "coated" strings on the market and neither of them had the good sound or the longevity of the Elixirs. They are expensive, which is tough, but as a working pro, my experience is nothing else compares...
Quality
I believe these are the best strings you can buy. I thought I would see how long these strings would hold their tone. I played these every day (2 hours a day) for 3 months and they still are great, there was only a discoloration from my perspiration
Elixir Acoustic Phosphor Bronze
Very long lasting string. Even when they start to look bad, they still sound good.
Excellent
I don't think you'll find much better strings than Elixirs. They might not be the ultimate of the ultimate in tone to a virtuoso performer who travels round with a tech that changes his strings for him. But .... for the 99%, they sound good and last a long time.
I'm giving a 4.5 because of the particles that fall off and land near the soundhole. This comes with the territory of treated strings and occurs at the picking area.
