Sturdy, dependable and solid sound nothing to write home about but I wouldn't hesitate to gig with one if needed but not an always on my board kind of pedal. I generally prefer the simpler two knob DOD for live as the knobs are fewer and easier to adjust on the fly. The extra features are nice but would probably be more fun at home or in the studio where you can play around and aren't trying to set it and forget it. Solid product and don't mind having it as backup or extra flavor if it's cold weather and I want to make bizarre sounds in my room.

Plenty of wah-wah range, very quiet and it works well with all instruments.
It's dynamic adjustability makes it multi-useful in all situations.
It bypasses clean and noninhibiting.
I would certainly recommend it to the professional musician.
It even works great with my Takamine acoustic/electric bass.
I am abundantly impressed.

I wont be using this pedal often, but when I want a wah effect while playing solos, fills, slide, singing, and re-creating hit tunes live, this pedal is perfect for me. Ex: Althea, Crazy Mama.

If you are like me - and you are - we buy pedals, try pedals, toss pedals on pile of other disappointing pedals. This might be the first pedal that did what I wanted right out of the box. I have always used the traditional Dunlop Cry Baby wah-wah. Well, I'm not getting any younger, or more graceful, and the band leader keeps putting the only three songs requiring a wah-wah all in a row. I think he wants to see me topple over. I literally took this pedal out of the box, plugged it in with the Boss FS-5U, the drummer counted off the beat while I tapped tempo, and it worked perfectly. The 3 knobs were at 12 o'clock and the mode was set to UP. "Higher Ground" does not require the guitar to "talk", it's more like a rhythm part. This pedal does the job! I can wonder around aimlessly (wirelessly) and the pedal just keeps going. Love it! No more old person leg cramps. Have played around with the settings and may eventually attach an expression pedal for the Humanizer, but for now I'm perfectly satisfied with keeping it simple.

It's not the worst auto wah pedal, but the AW-2 was better.

Really great Auto Wah Boss Pedal! Great for Funk, etc. Get that great Wah sound without the foot pedal. Super easy to dial in a great tone. Also does a kind of "talking "effect that is pretty cool. Great Results!! Love it!!

This is an excellent pedal, for both Wah and (almost) talk box effects. I use it for "Do you feel like we do" and Rocky Mt. way. It gets me about 80 percent of what a talk box will, without the some what cumbersome "real" talk box set up. It's built very well. Tends to distort a bit, in a good way, so I turn all distortion/gain effects off. If it broke, I'd buy another.

This is an auto-wah first and formost. If you like playing funk, like me, this'll get the sound you want, and they'll be no fiddling with a foot pedal. Simple and effective. I use the humanizer for a "frampton" effect. It does other stuff, but the funk sounds and humanizer are what I use it for.

I really thought this pedal would be better than
what my friends were saying but I was wrong. First of all, its really hard to get the sound you want out of it. Second, it just plain sucked. If you want a really good auto wah i would recommend the Digitech Synth Wah, its really kool.
