By Sweetwater Customer

I already this model of wireless. i wanted a second one, and it is try and true to what i need and do. so sweetwater and Pat were gracious enough to help search and retrieve one for me. Works right out of the box. love it. my volunteers already know how to use it, so it was a no brainer to add a second one.

Works for My Sax Mic

By Tadric R. from Lawrenceville, GA

It does the job for me playing saxophone with a wireless clip on to my bell. The bad reviews should be removed because they don't actually rate the product. This is a good solution, read the specs before purchasing.

Good step forward

By Tom L. from Cleveland

I"m replacing gen 3 3000 series mics in two theaters with these, my initial feeling wasn"t good because of the new connector and the lack of mic elements terminated with the new style. We were able to get free adapters which made it an easy transition. The new connector is very solid. I think they will hold up well for the life of the unit. The transmitters are now MIM metal, not plastic. They also added infrared setting and much more functionality to the transmitters. The receivers are so much easier to read from any angle, which is good because one theater has them mounted under the mixer.
The clips also stay on the packs now, unlike the old generation.
Battery life with el-cheapo batteries is a shade under double the old generation too. We can now get two performances out of a set of batteries.

Sound Engineer 2

By Perry W. from Denver
Music Background: Sound Engineer

Well though out system ATW, Off switch inside is perfect, Multi function button on the bottom of the mic screen side perfect. People who aren't use to handheld mics get nervous when speaking in front of people and their fingers become busy. A different lapel mic yeah I agree with the other reviews on the money grab being I have 12+ of the other older lapel mics with some brand new in the pack as backups. But I did my homework and got the systems with the new mics and two extra adaptors. I brought two Lapel systems and two Handheld systems and they're great. I have the older systems also but updated to10 of the System 10 Pro's, now they're good wireless systems also but don't like wireless routers or thing in that spectrum close to it. The System 10 pro's never leave you hanging but you gotta thing about what's on around it and where you place the receiver so that why I picked up these. Over 30 years in the sound game

Wrong thing to do,AT

By BW

To be fair, the system works ok as an emergency purchase. However, Audio Technica decided to reverse connections on the body pack so that neither the previous AT mic nor a presumingly better quality non AT mic will work. Apparently there is an adapter (to purchase) but it was not readily available and why should it be required. That is the wrong thing to do Audio Technica.

Sound engineer

By Darryl from Minnesota

I have been a 3000 series fan ever since the first hand held and body packs we got 10 years ago. We have got a total of 20 wireless systems not to mention the 6 in ear wireless systems. I don"t even run them with a frequency management system even though I rarely run them all at the same time but have when we do a play. The new 3000 series have not disappointed me so far and I don"t believe they will either, since I would think technology will only get better.

Not ready for prime time

By D. W. from Central Texas
Music Background: Worship Leader

Come on, Audio-Tecnica. This system was released half baked. Receiver is very good. The transmitter is not well thought out. User must purchase an adapter to use from A-T body pack to A-T microphone! This means an extra cost... per unit. This means extra un-necessary bulk, weight, and stress on the cable. User must open body pack to turn unit on (no exterior switch). Mute switch is tiny. Do not go with this system.

Problems with mic connection

By Jay R. from Rock Hill, sc
Music Background: TV engineer for 40 years

The difficulties caused by the lack of proper documentation when purchasing were costly and frustrating. There should be a warning that the connector for the mic was changed to a CH version. Had to buy a $30 adaptor to match the AT mic.
