Comfortable, loud, great mic. Love the auto mute on the boom arm when you fold it up.
These cans are very very loud. I have them at 50% volume.
Mic monitor feature is very cool.
Only gripe is the cable is a little stiff and a little short.
Very tight, SkullCrushers
The sound is obviously great. Usability in Condenser mic is amazing and sound is Excellent Quality. However these pads are terrible and the headband padding is equal in discomfort.
The headband itself is so tight it literally has my head aching after 1-2 hours of use.
I use them for work 9+Hours.
They are UNUSABLE at this point.
I have tried other paddings but this headband itself is just too tight.
A bad $+TAX investment, at least I learned that these ate not what I need. The Company should have named these models "SkullCrushers" they definitely would live up to the name.
I Heard amazing things about this and it lived up to every expectation!
Super easy to use. You don't need to download a software. All you need is to plug it in and let it rip. The function where you can move the microphone upward to mute yourself is next level. I do remote announcing sometimes, which is why I bought it, and the sound quality is incredible. Would recommend this to anyone doing the same of having conversations on a podcast, streaming, etc.
Great headset just not suited for my purposes
I love the Ath-50x headphones and the headset coming out was a suprise so I had to get them! Shipping was fast as always and customer service is always top tier. I set up the headset and I was planning on using them for recording just to avoid setting up a mic stand sometimes or casual gaming when I'm bored but unfortunately the mic just didn't meet my expectations when comparing to the at2020 or even the rode nt1a and I don't think I wanna sacrifice sound quality for the convenience of not setting up a mic stand. But all around the Audio Technica ATH-m50STS Is a great headset and the mic is better than a lot of headsets out there I just think the capsule should be bigger or better tuned with a dsp for less resonance in the high end when given a good amount of gain.
Amazing headset.
After years of buying $ gaming headsets that were useless I decided to buy a real headset. This thing is absolutely incredible. Amazing comfort, amazing sound and amazing vocal quality in comparison to any of those Razer headsets I ever owned. I should have bought one ages ago. Can't go wrong with this one if you are looking for a headset for gaming or work.
Awesome! Great Sound for USB Headset!
For a couple of years now, I have been in search for a really good pair of USB headsets. Three weeks ago, I looked here on Sweetwater for one but couldn't find a high enough quality one for my requirements. Then, a week ago, I saw a listing for these new USB headsets. Since I already own another pair of Audio-Technia headsets that I am super happy with, I knew these would be very good. I just got these USB headsets in the mail today and have been using them. They rock for USB headset! Very clear and a pretty even sound.
I initially got these to replace the cheap USB headsets I have owned for a while, but tend to hurt my ear after only an hour of wearing them. Since, I am one longer conference calls I wanted something better.
