Works great for any recording needs!

You guys never fail to impress me first off super timely delivery package arrived 3 days before it was suppose too. Product came well packed and with candy(always the best part). Product itself came unharmed and not damaged everything works as promised. I was incredibly excited to get it set up when it arrived. Although I did have to temporarily replace the XLR cable the rest of the kit worked perfectly. I spoke with their customer service and they were so quick to send a replacement.

I have been using a M.I.C. off brand something-or-other condenser microphone for a few years. It was okay, sounded fair but the shock mount wouldn't fit on any stand I had (too loose and wouldn't thread) as a result it would often flop around and I had to finally tape it. My headphones were of the Amazon variety and finally gave out leaving me with nothing but a pair of old Sony on-the-ear headphones. Great for listening to music from your iPhone but not doing serious recording.

As a podcaster and musician, it was time. So, being a guy on a budget that needed stuff, I saw this. I've always like audiotechnica gear so I thought "How bad can it be, gotta be better than what I got". Well.... let me tell you. I am overwhelmed with joy on how good this thing sounds, how great and solid the mount is and how clear the headphones are. No more fumbling and shuffling things around on my desk for a place to put my mic. Now I just reach over and pull it over on it's articulating mount. I sounds spectacular and I can't even begin to wonder what the hell I was thinking not getting this setup sooner than I did.

I was reserved when I bought this. But as it turns out the headphones were so good I ordered another pair. The mic has good quality also.

I've had this mic for a couple months and have used it with a RODECaster Pro and iRig Pro Duo. It's a solid mic for the price and I'm happy with the sound quality. Gain needs to be turned up pretty high to compete volume-wise with higher end mics but for $150 that doesn't bother me. The extendable arm that comes with the bundle is nothing to write home about but it is nice to have the XLR cable snaked through the frame as it keeps everything clean. The ATH-M20x headphones are nice, speakers are little weak but, again, for the price, I'm not complaining.

I suggest investing in a pop-filter and shock mount. All in all, though, I'm happy with the purchase.

The microphone the audio Technica at 2020 is outstanding, at least compared to what I was using before so no name. The microphone boom though in my situation was transmitting sound up to stand into the into the microphone and ended up having to get a stand so I took a half a star off for the boom. As far as the headphones are concerned I have nothing to compare them to but they're doing the job.

Audio Technica has a pretty good reputation and I'm overall pretty pleased with this kit. I bought the mic for acoustic guitar and vocals to record with Garageband on my iPad. So far I'm very happy with the recording results and the headphones are decent. My only complaint is the boom arm and mic cable that is threaded inside. Both are cheaply made; I've already had to tighten the tiny bolt on the bracket where you attach the mike because it came loose and got wobbly. Also, I had to buy some DeOxit F5 spray (works great) and apply it to the outside of the mic cable because it kept getting stuck inside my Focusrite Scarlett and would not come out without a lot of force. One other small annoyance is that it takes a bit of fiddling around to attach the mic to the boom arm but once you have it the way you want, you're good to go. Tjhose problems are now solved so this kit is a keeper. Sweetwater was very responsive, as always, to my questions.

This microphone had been having problems from the start but i really liked it so i worked hard to fix the problems when i first purchased it. I managed to get it working and used it for a couple months with minimal problems then a few days ago it just randomly stopped working, after just barley exceeding the 90 day return policy. I never misused it, or was ruff with it in anyway. In the past couple days i was taken the microphone to several places to het it looked at and they all said that they cant figure out what is wrong with it, and doesnt work on their systems either. I and now down $ and some of my time.
