QSC K12.2 Killers
After years of using the original QSC K12s, I purchased the K12.2s when they came out. Really good speakers, reliable and very loud. Not a lot of low-end as the originals, but loud. I used them for years and they are really good. I always felt the high's were too harsh at high volumes. Like screaming loud. Fast forward to 2023, i was in Maryland for an outdoor Graduation Party and this DJ had one RCF 15" top. Didnt get the specific model, but it sounded great. Very loud, clear, balance and warm. That's the sound I prefer. Bass wasn't as good as the original QSC K12s, but better than the k12.2s. Last year I sold my QSCs and upgraded to RCF. I purchase the 705ASII and 705MkIII also. Brilliant subs. Can't imagine how well the 18s sound.

I was originally looking at the QSC K12.2 and their matching subs to upgrade my old system, but was steered toward this model by my trusted agent at Sweetwater, Mason. He told me the RCF speakers were a bit cleaner than the QSC, but attaching them to the RCF subs would seperate the two quite a bit.
Coupled with the 705-as subs, it is a formidable system, and is very portable. For the first time, my bass DI sounds amazing! The kick drum is in the chest, and everything is clear as a bell.
